Spiritjim was a tough and consistent racehorse, winning 7 of his first 9 races and reaching the pinnacle with Group 1 success in France. He raced at group / stakes level an amazing 21 times in a short 23 race career, finishing in the top 5 an amazing 14 times! He ran in the famous Arc De Triomphe twice, came 5th in a star studded field to Winx over a mile in the G1 George Main and showed his toughness racing on as a 6 year old placing 2nd in the G3 Craven Plate on his last outing.

His racing highlights included wins at stakes level as a 3 year old including the Lord Seymour and Prix Vulcain stakes. Before leaping into his 4 year old campaign winning the Group 3 D'Hedouville, Group 2 GP De Chantilly and rattling home to defeat the full brother to Frankel, "Noble Mission" in the Group 1 GP de Saint Cloud in Paris. He was sadly disqualified from his win in the G1 GP de Saint Cloud due to vet / trainer faults.
